For Wilkinson Sword.
Gosh you are a lovely lot.:o Glad you like it!
I was hoping it would inspire some meat eaters to enjoy some cheaper, but still tasty and nutritious meat free dishes. For those with a veggie and a meat eater in the house (like in this one) some of the recipes are easily adapted.
eg, DH sometimes fries some chicken and adds it to pasta dishes at the end, or some spicy sausage, and he usually puts some pepperoni on his pizza too. (We make our own dough and split it in half.)May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -

I had started my own meal planner but hadn't got aound to finding recipes for all of them yet. However, you've covered many of them for me like lentil lasagne etc & have given even more great ideas.

Make a basic tomato sauce by frying some finely chopped onion in olive oil, adding crushed garlic and topping up with passata or chopped tomatoes and tomato puree until thickened. Grate a small cube of fresh ginger into it and cook for another few minutes. Add a big handful of chopped, fresh coriander.

Don't think I mentioned: Cheese puddin' is simply scrambled egg with grated cheddar cooked into it. If you give the eggs a good whisk with a little milk until frothy, cook very gently, stirring constantly and add the cheese about half way through, it will have a lovely, crumbly but moist texture to it, very different to plain scrambled egg.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0

Fruit yum: Simply porridge made with ground millet and milk and a gated pear or apple added. It is very sweet and gluten free so also serves as a good weaning food.
It's very different to oat porridge, with a much sweeter taste and more grainy texture, but it's a hit with my 2 year old.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0
