    It may be cheap - but is it any good ?

    I mean, six inches isn't very big is it (...now, now - behave people :naughty: )

    Does anyone have this model (or any other six-incher! :rolleyes: ) and are able to confirm whether it's worth a fiver, or should we pay a little more for an extra few inches? :whistle:

    I have a six inch fan and it gives a surprisingly good breeze.
    Definately worth having at this price.

    You can squeeze one of these in your suitcase when you go abroad too. Saves paying £20 to hire one. It did a good job keeping me cool in majorca.

    Well, I'm currently being wafted with cool air from a 16" pedestal fan which I picked up from my local Wilkinson store for a tenner - seemed liked a bargain to me ...... chill man !!!!!! :j (don't think it'll fit in my suitcase, though !!)

    Sainsburys are doing a Fridgemaster 9" oscillating 2-speed desk fan with adjustable tilt for £6.97. It's not bad, just bought one - see lifesize pic. It's 13" high from top to base & 10" wide.

    They are also doing a 12" one which is £9.99, & the 16" floor-standing pedestal is £12.97. G

    Writing this being cooled by the Matsui 6" fan.

    Perfectly OK, not very noisy. Can't complain. Did feel a little guilty as the sweating DHL courier came along our narrow land - but then thought, hey it's Dixons and they closed our store locally in any case....
