  • I am thinking of buying that shampoo and cunningly transferring it into DD's shampoo bottle. She will never know!:D
I buy the tesco 10p shower gel and water it down making roughly two bottles for 5p. No one has noticed at all:rolleyes:

I like the penne recipe and may make a trip to Asda when i visit my sister as she lives nearby.

I do that! I also get either the shampoo or the bubble bath (whichever works out cheapest but usually the bubble bath) and use in pump soap dispensers (watered down a little too).

this stuff is 12p a bottle. I really like it and haven't noticed any difference in my hair!:o:D

I use that (and the matching conditioner, 25p a bottle) and I have hair down to my waist.

    No complaints :)

Ooh Shaz that soup looks gorgeous! I went to Sainsburys late today, but went later than planned as I was fixated on next top model :o so no whoopsies this week.

I'm trying to eat well and have made a promise to myself that any sweet things I eat will be home made. I've suddenly got a sweet tooth again after more than 10 years so I'm not good with desserts. I have some pastry in the freezer left over from my mince pie attempt. I'm thinking jam tarts... Er that's it. :rotfl:
I'm not creative when it comes to sweet things, any ideas?

well...re pastry leftovers....back in the days before I decided sugar is a "no-no" to be kept for very rare treats - I might use up pastry by just rolling it out flat, sprinkling with sultanas and brown sugar, roll up into "swiss roll" fashion and then bake in the oven (cant remember the timing and temperature I'm afraid.....).

ps I have a vague idea I might also have cut slivers of butter to put with that sultanas/sugar - but twas so many years ago I cant be sure on that.
