  • Hello Sarah and everyone else:D

I had no internet yesterday and it was INSANE!! I don't ever want to go to that dark place again.. *rocks back and forth*

You are all so crazily organised I feel as though you should pop round my place with a hoover and sort me out too. Actually.. Where IS Shevs??

Sarah I hope you are feeling better now x I was thinking about you last night and wondering if you was having a good week.

mhagster You really make me laugh for all the things you buy because it would be rude not to!

furrypig The brush markers I use in my video are the vintage pack - The ones you DID NOT buy LOL ah Well I am sure you have got enough colours in your others :)

Sylph I am loving your enthusiasm but will it happen.. I am too scared to even go up to my attic so there is no chance of it happening for me :D

luvbargains That sounds perfectly money neutral to me - well done!! Would you believe I couldn't find ANY Nestle cereals with the promotion in store!! Tsk!

Chocolate Orange I feel your pain.. I too can not resist pretty things.. especially if they have glitter on.. Oh god.. glitter!!

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh No Internet MEL!!! What did you do Honey??? How did you cope??

I'm fine now Mel think we are all over the worse, just trying to help with all the things that you have to do on top of all the normal everyday problems and joys. Things should start getting a bit better over the next few weeks like I said and I will have more time to myself again. I hope!! Then I can start getting Organised and Scrap Booking!!

    Take Care

    Sarah

PS Hope everyone is having a ncie weekend

Have been on UKS asking this question but wondered if anyone uses the x cut impress machine?? Is it any good is it worth getting?? I don't think they have the dies that I most want to use tho so maybe not worth getting tho very cheap on madaboutcards site. What about the cuttlebug?? Looks fab!! Has the dies I like and of course costs much more is it a good investment or not???

I absolutely adore my cuttlebug - I had it for my birthday to replace my sidekick. I have loads of embossing folders that make even cheapy paper look really effective and I bought loads of sizzix dies in the Ellison 75% off sale things like tags and shapes (squares rectangles and ovals) it also fits the sizzlits dies and of course the fabby cuttlebug alphabets.

Sorry to run on but its my favourite thing in the house :rotfl: excluding OH and DD of course :p
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

    Thanks Padingtondoo!

Good to know you can use other dies too.

I looked at a video on youtube and it looked fairly portable and I thought it wouldn't be too heavy to bring back but maybe I was deceived!! Will check out prices here and in the US and try and decide!!
  • Hi everyone.

I got some bargains from boots today-

They would make nice little gifts.
3x Photo Cubes were £8.00 the ticket on the shelf said it was £1.96 when i got to the till there were 49p each.
2x Mini Silver photo album were 2.99 each then 74p but 18p at the till. :T

I also went into a craft shop and treated myself to Hopscotch chipboard alphabet set. Which is so pretty. :D
There was a gorgeous pink glittery set too which i will treat myself to next week.:rotfl:

I got a small Papermania scalloped chipboard album, which i will make for a friend for her xmas present! :j
    I also got a Papermania 12''x12'' 30 pages 'Naughty & Nice' paper set reduced to £1.99. :j
  • Pinkladymel- I have found the nestle promotions cereals in Sainsburys and Tesco.
The offer is on until October, so you have got plenty of time to get some.

I am going to get another one and use my playfunds again for another xmas movie hamper present.
  • I have had an email off boots, my orders been.......DISPATCHED!!!! YAY!!!!

Oh PLM, how did you cope!! Sure you got lots of crafting done instead of being distracted, lol. I'll pop into your roof for you, love noseying in peoples as they're a right treasure trove :D Mines going to take a bit of organisation & bossing from me to get the roof done as I'll need someone to keep an eye on LO, so I'll be calling in a few favors from the family. OH wont go in the roof as he's afraid of falling, whereas I'm used to it, been popping into my moms roof since I was 14 to help her get stuff out. It seriously needs doing, before it falls in, lol.
A bit on ebay each week will help, means 1 day waiting in if theres large stuff, & 1 day to take stuff to the Post Office. Already started last night on my clothes, not as many as I thought but I'm hoping a few of the items will sell well.

For those who have not heard of Qype they are an online review site (www.qype.com) where people add reviews of places they have been to. Last time they ran a promo, it was 'write X amount of reviews and get a £50 amazon voucher and a bag of goodies; (which included an ipod shuffle )

This time is "Earn £50 by writing reviews for us (£1 for a new review ie. a place that hasnt been reviewed before and 50p for a place that has been done by someone else" ...so essentially between 50 and 100 reviews to earn a £50 Virgin voucher.

Virgin vouchers can be spent in lots of places see
    here

They must be written by 31st January and usually have to be 100wrds long. Can be a bit boring but £50 is pretty good. Would help on the way towards Money Neutral :) (or a treat for yourselves).

See this post for details and thanks to the original poster on 'freebies'

Open to NEW and Original Qypers :T

Edit: Get in quick......see these terms from Website
The Promotional Period is 15/01/2009 to 31/01/2009 and will close at midnight on 31/01/2009. The competition will be open to the first 1000 entrants and it will not be possible to enter the competition after 1000 entries have been made. If you receive an email confirmation, you can assume that your entry has been successful.. Every person who has met the review criteria of of the competition will be sent a confirmation email. Those who do not receive a confirmation may send an enquiry email to new email address with the word 'virgin' in the subject line.
