In an oven proof dish add in 1 mug of self raising flour, 1 mug of granulated sugar and 1 mug of milk. Mix it all up so it's thoroughly mixed together and then add 1 tin of value tinned fruit of your choice on top. Bake in the oven on gas mark 4 until golden. The flour mix will rise up above the fruit.

Presumably I can use cooking apples instead(or as well as)tinned fruit?

    Strawberry mousse

Boil half a pint of milk in a saucepan and add 1 jelly. Stir until the jelly has dissolved. At this point the milk will curdle but dont panic. Stir in half a pint of evaporated milk and then transfer to a dish to set in the fridge.
