Wow.. go to work for a day and a new thread has evolved

No 'freebie' joy on my last Boots jaunt..
However I did return the TD line reducer thing which was £5.50 (50p with voucher) I swapped it for the TD eye cream £8.00, said I didn't have receipt so the SA knocked the full £5.50 off the eye cream
** Picked up a spare a lip plumper.. anyone that missed out on one of these is more than welcome to it.. (£2) <---- gone **0 -
Yep - it expired 31 Jan 2006.Liverbird wrote:Didnt the haircare voucher offer run out yesterday? All the signs were down in my store today.
I found one yesterday and put it in my wallet, only to realise when I got home, but too late then! D'oh!

If you have a new Ad card with the double points for 2 transactions voucher, then you can really clean up with the points! I just got 6 handwashes, £1.66 each, BOGOF, for £4.98 with 1800 pts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just hoping I get another EI voucher to use the double points with.
I thought the double points voucher only doubled up the normal points not the points you get from the machine. Now I'm confused. If I had known then what I know now . . .

Apparently, you just need to hand over one voucher and the till will give you 150 points for each EI item in your basket!jammy123 wrote:Hi, could you tell me if you handed over 6 vouchers as my local sa will only let you use 1 even if they are for different products.
Thanks

From what others have said, it seems the AC machine is only allowing you to print 1 voucher anyway - unless you've got more than one card.

That's certainly the way it works when Boots have a double or triple points promotion. Ie - double or triple your "normal" points only.Highland_Lass wrote:I thought the double points voucher only doubled up the normal points not the points you get from the machine. Just popped into boots to buy some batteries for my digital camera and noticed that they had the Energizer Ultimate batteries pack of 4 + 2 free for £1.65!!!!! Considering the pack of 4 is £3.99, a good deal.

EDIT: Forgot to say they were the AA type!!!!0 -
I've just come back from my local Boots store where I picked up few half-price items for my baby.
Avent microwaver steriliser (with 4 Avent bottles + brush) reduced from £19.99 to £9.99
Medela mini electric pump reduced from £44.99 to £21.45
Tomy sound & movement monitor (with temperature measurement) reduced from £49.99 to £24.99
Plus there were other little bits and bobs like first feeding spoons for 49p for two in a pack, Avent powder milk dispenser for £2.49 (full price £4.99), etc.
I've been budgeting to buy all these items anyway so I am ever so pleased to have saved so much money!!!
I'm not sure if this is happening in all the stores but I suppose it's worth a visit. It's best to regret things you have done rather than those you have not...0 -
