I'd never heard of them before.
Favourable reviews, so I've ordered some.

I used Eproformance CDR's some time ago. No problems with them. Like I said though, just the CDR's, not DVD-R's

what about the AAA's - also £3.99 for a pack of 4 (900mAh) - can anybody recommend these (or any other deals on rechargeable AAA's)

EDIT: I've just noticed that you can buy a 4 pack of AAA's (1000 mAh) on eBay for £3.49 delivered (branded "Better Power") or similar spec "Vapex" (sounds like something you'd find in a medicine cabinet !) for £4.20 delivered (including free plastic carry case) - look like quite good deals unless anyone knows better

Vapex Technology batteries are very good as are their chargers.

Their Ebay offers are very good as well.

Just ordered several things with 7dayshop.com. Did it in 3 seperate orders under £18 to avoid paying VAT & got free shipping! Great!! Saved a packet doing it this way..

Good to get the order(s) in while still free P&P, but you've caused yourself a little work as YOU don't need to worry about splitting your orders to be under £18 as 7dayshop will always do it for you - eg you order £50 worth of stuff and you'll get it in at least 3 shipments. (Assuming of course that an individual item is not worth more than £18.)

Looks like this has ended now then

  • Yes the free P&P offer has ended - 3 hours ago now.

They sent out a reminder email Thursday evening saying:
"FREE P&P offer will be ending Saturday 31st December 2005 at 2pm..."

Which was a big improvement on last time when it just arbitrarily ended. I moaned then to them that it was frustrating when they did that - seems they do listen. I was pleased with their approach this time anyway - and made an order for a couple of petty/useful/cheap items that wouldn't have been worthwhile without free P&P.
