    Notice of Debt Recovery

Notice of Debt Recovery 14th Jan 20 at 8:17 PM
    Hi
I have received not one but 3 letters from DCBL. The letter is entitled 'Notice of Debt Recovery'
Each letter shows 3 different dates for the same car park with each amount being 100 plus fees total of 160.
I received all three letter on the same day and this is the first time I have heard anything about it. I received no windscreen tickets or previous letters.
These letters were forwarded from my previous address. I had apparently not had my address changed with DVLA at the time they checked.
I am inclined to just call them and say the person does not live at this address.
    Any advice please?
    Many thanks

    nope

    you should do 2 things

email a SAR to the DPO at the parking company , to get all your data , and issue a data rectification notice to that same DPO to get your details updated and old address erased

then write to DCBL telling them to place it on hold pending debt management advice

see post #2 and post #5 of the newbies sticky thread for explanations

Private Parking ticket? check the 2 sticky threads by coupon-mad and crabman in the Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking Board forum for the latest advice or maybe try pepipoo or C.A.G. or legal beagles forums if you need legal advice as well because this parking forum is not about debt collectors or legal matters per se

DCBL will not update your address , even when instructed by the parking firm.
