Moving to California - First financial things to do? 13th Jun 19 at 11:55 PM
    Hey,

I'm shortly moving to Orange County, California and I'm trying to get my head around what I'll need to set up first!

I've already got a Social Security number, so that's a start!

What's the best bank to use? I know the banking system in the US isn't as quick as the UK and new online-only banks require you to be a US citizen (whereas I'll just be on a visa).

Any other tips would be appreciated!

    Thanks!

I would go with Chase first.
    Well Fargo second
Citibank is a good bank also - Choices - 1. Chase 2. Citibank and 3. Wells Fargo
All three have branches throughout the country
I have no idea about the others.
I think you need to do some research online to see what the banks will require.

Btw John Wayne airport SNA is good and avoids the hassle of going to LAX for short trips.
