if you lend someone £20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it

Ah okay, I didn’t know posters can do that. Wonder what caused them to leave?

I didn't know you could do that either.
I thought you just stopped posting & that was that.
    What details are removed?
It's sad that somebody wanted to just leave & erase themselves
Surely the posts stay though, otherwise the threads wouldn't make sense.

Oh, erm... & can I ask who it was?
    Smile... It'll confuse em.

I didn't know that you could do that either. It's fairly easy to identify who it was though, as the OP edited their post before leaving the site, and the edit note at the bottom contains the user name....

    Thank you.

However... it didn't quite work out as expected due to there not actually being any accommodation.
Plus a few other minor details.
Bit disappointing but that's the way the cookie crumbles.
I've since secured something else, only part time & not live in, but fast cash as paid weekly.
Got a bit desperate due to hanging around waiting.
Still, I will build on it with my dog grooming & I'll snap up an evening job for a bit extra.
Good job I bought a bigger car

Under GDPR you have a right to be 'forgotten'. I would presume the link shows what happens when a forum member asks for their entire record to be removed.
