..............hide your number when making a call from a mobile? I think it used to be in Network & Internet, but it doesn't seem to be there any longer.

It's a bit difficult to find on an Android. On my phone (OnePlus 6 Android Pie) it's in the phone dialler app. In there, tap the three vertical dots at the top right, tap Settings, then Call settings, tap your SIM, then Additional settings, then Caller ID. I can then select "Network default", "Hide number", or "Show number". It may be different on your phone though, depending on the model and the version of Android.

Thanks Karate, that explained it exactly.

Tea, Karate's link showed me exactly how to do it.

i just dial 141 then the rest of the number and that hides the number. as not all outgoing calls you want to withhold.

Not sure why you're doing this, but just a heads up. It doesn't hid the number from the network, just the person you're calling.
