PIP renewal 30th Apr 19 at 2:11 PM
Hello, has PIP stopped sending out renewal forms a whole year before the claim is due to end?
    Thanks

Also does anyone know what happens with regards to switching banks when in receipt of benefits?

Just ring DWP to give them your new bank details.

Yes. I've been told they are now sending them out six months before rather than 12

I'm due my renewal in November, which is 1 year before the award ends.

the bank switching process will take care of all your incoming payments and outgoing. There is some evidence to suggest the 12 month rule is changing, but not enough to say for sure.
If you are not part of the solution then you must be part of the problem.

I think there used to be guidance that said the DM making the initial award should decide the review date and then make the end date 12 months later, hence reviews taking place 12 months before the end date. I suspect that if the dates are slipping that will be down to lack of resources rather than a policy switch.

I think it's changed to 6 months because I have been waiting on my renewal form. Was expecting it Feb/March!
