    Pay and tax wrong

Pay and tax wrong 16th Apr 19 at 12:18 PM
Last month I wasnít paid at all due to issues with timesheets not being submitted correctly (IT error apparently) I am a casual/bank worker so I do not have a monthly salary. I was paid an advance payment of what I was owed as apparently this was the only way they could do it. But was taxed 20% and NI 10% so lost a fair bit.
Was told it would be paid back this month however as it was an advance payment they have paid me the amount I was meant to get last month and deducted it as advance payment. Iíve now been taxed for my normal pay this month (which on its own would not be taxed as it is Low) plus the advance payment. And no sign of the tax I was owed appearing, although it was on the payslip a few weeks ago before I submitted my hours.

Payroll have always got my pay right but last month and now seemingly this month (I get paid next week but can see my payslip already) have been wrong and messed up and itís affected me financially, I borrowed money from my parents last month for the amount I overpaid on tax and am meant to pay them back this month but it doesnít look like Iím getting what Iím owed. If I didnít have family to help me out Iíd be screwed! My pay last month wasnít until a week after payday and then I was only paid half, got the next half the week after for some reason, so paying bills direct debits was a struggle.

I like the company I work for but the payroll issues are stressing me out is there anything I can do to sort this?
