Disabled Persons Railcard 12th Apr 19 at 2:05 PM
Just received my card through the post but was surprised to see it doesn’t have a photo on it.

I was asked for a photo as part of the application - is my card printed correctly?

Has anyone else got a card without a photo?

No they don't have photos, which is a bit odd.

All railcards apart from disabled, family & friends and senior have photos.

I wasn't asked for a photo when I applied for my disabled rail card.

Are you confused with the bus pass? I sent a photo for my bus pass and it is scanned onto the bus pass card.

I have never needed a photo for disabled rail card and it doesn't show one. It doesn't get checked that often I have it out to hand over with tickets but they rarely take it so it could easily eb someone elses gender /name etc. I think I had to send off a copy of my PIP last time I applied.

You will need the card when you buy the ticket(s) and should show the card if asked for your ticket on board, not needed when exiting the station through barriers.
