Today is the first day of my using the Agile Octopus tariff for electricity. I signed up to this tariff very much as a matter of interest rather than from an expectation of saving a lot of money. We have got to make some effort to contain our usage from 4 PM to 7 PM. Our base load averages 330 Watts and we have solar.

Does anyone here use this tariff?
Solar installed 21 November 2014 > Centre of England > 3,780 Wp > 14 *270 Watt Trina panels > 14 * Enphase micro-inverters > managed by Enlighten Envoy Hub > 19 west of south > 35 pitch > tree shading to east > iBoost > Wattson Anywhere monitoring > Schneider Electric (Drayton) MiGenie smart thermostat.

And you can do the same for their Go tariff too.

    https://api.octopus.energy/v1/products/GO-18-06-12/electricity-tariffs/E-1R-GO-18-06-12-M/standard-unit-rates/

    13.3p from 03:30 to 23:30
    4.99p from 23:30 to 03:30

I really think the use of API to tariffs can open up a gateway to a smarter home. Turning stuff on and off based on all kinds of metrics (Solar Generation, cheaper energy, empty/full batteries etc).
