Are you doing owt healthy for January? Some are going herbivore or vegan plus ofc theres Dry January.

Im doing the latter as with previous years. Normally its difficult at the start and towards the end, but this year Im struggling in the middle, which does not bode well orange squash is all well and good but I could quite literally murder a cold tangy zesty pint of craft ale or a large glass of soft red vino.

Anyway, hope youre doing well and looking forward to a healthier 2019 er

I'm doing dry January. Last year I didn't and did no drinking for lent instead. I hope I can keep up the no drinking with a forced belated Christmas party night coming up!

Lost 5 lbs so far, this year.

I don't mind the Volvic sugar free watermelon water, sparkling water or watermelon, cucumber and (I think it's) lime fizzy by an Australian company in Sainsbo.

My and my friend gave Pizza hut's flatbread 550 cal pizza a go without the usual alcohol and eating place and our bill was halfers. Can't be bad.

My I-Will-Not-Kill-The-Offspring resolution is going strong & so far they are all breathing.

If they decided to take up veganism however, then bets may be off.

Dry January still going okay and cravings have subsided, though seem to be hitting the confectionery quite hard instead — have eated *many* chocolate coated rice cakes today, so not sure long-suffering liver will be any better off. Anyway, orange squash is growing on me

Anyone else doing dry January at all? How’s it going?

    I've done dry January.

Every time I go out I make sure I have welly boots, a waterproof coat and an umbrella.

I've lost just over 2kg this year, ideally only about another 35kg to go.

    I'm always dry.

As for going vegan? I believe Frankie Boyle gave the best answer to that one (I'm sure you all know the one I mean)

I'm on a "forget the veg, eat all the meat January"
