I never use my downstairs loo. I need the exercise.

And I go up and down the stairs a lot. Mainly because when I get upstairs, I've forgotten what I went up for.

    The joys of getting old.

We have one, and if I get desperate I have to ask my wife to hurry up.

No harm to you, but I really couldn't go back to a one loo home

Even in my last home, a two up and two down, we put a loo in under the stairs

I would love an upside down house. Heat rises. Upstairs is always too warm as I heat downstairs. Downstairs is cooler during a heatwave and a better place to sleep.

Here they are called 1 and a half story houses, you would know them as chalet style, Basically a bungalow and then another story fitted in under the eves

So down stairs is basically a 3 bedroom bungalow , then up stairs another couple of bedrooms, sitting room and bathroom and a few assorted areas

It was bought so that mum and dad could live independently with us. it works . but blimey, takes a lot of work keeping it
