MBNA Limit increases 10th Nov 18 at 7:15 PM
Do MBNA carry out a hard search when a limit increase is requested ? on my app this morning there was a request a limit increase link on it which i haven't had before so i assumed they were offering to increase my limit but it states
"by submitting this request, you authorise us to search the files of any cra we require to help us make a decision on increasing your credit"

Iv'e not had an increase from them yet but my other cards offer to increase my limits iv'e not had to request one.

Ive used the option a few times and they havent done a hard search.

I guess they have to say it just in case they do decide to do a search.

I asked for a 1k increase and they're thinking about it , probably should have asked for 500 but my limit is only 1500 and the 0% offers are not worth taking up on such a small amount.
