Porting over number in my name to daughter's name? 10th Nov 18 at 4:08 PM
Basically I bought my daughter a mobile phone/contract 4 years ago (in my name).

She's over 18, working FT & she would like to have a new contract in her name whilst retaining her existing number.

Can I request a PAC code, pass the code onto her so she can use it once she has found the package for her?

If it's in your name, it's your contract, and liability, whether you or your daughter pay the bill.
There is no ID check when you submit a PAC that am aware of.
No free lunch, and no free laptop

There's no check at all, just the 9 character code.

I did this with my son and there was no check on who the PAC related to. We just passed the code to the new supplier and the new account was set up in my son's name (whereas the old account had been in my name). Easy way to keep the same number.

The only check I found was when requesting the PAC, which makes obvious sense to stop any fraud
