Garage keeps refundable deposit 9th Nov 18 at 9:10 PM
A month ago I went to see a car. To be able to book a viewing Evans Halshaw in Lincoln ask for a "refundable" deposit of 99 to make sure I turned up.

I went to see the car, didn't like it and told them I wasn't interested. Now they have sold the car to somebody else and guess what? They haven't paid the deposit back even after several email and phone calls.
    It feels essentially like theft.
What can I do to get my money back? Any advice welcome!

Go and see them. Don't leave until you have your money.

Yup, go in business hours and cause a nuisance loud enough for customers to hear. You'll soon get it back.
