Make up to £10 a day in November. Everyone welcome 31st Oct 18 at 10:40 AM
    Hello and welcome everybody

This is the 135th month of this challenge, which was first started by Batgirl, in September 2007. Here is a link to the original thread as I am sure some of you are interested to read where it all began.

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=542835

Thanks to Batgirl for starting it and for everyone who has kept it going for 11 years! I would especially like to thank Aesop who has run the thread for the last few years

Quite a few of the regulars have taken a break recently so we would be really pleased to see some new faces and of course we would love to hear from any of our old posters even if it is just to say hello

It is only natural for the thread to evolve and change in a different direction and for new ideas to be explored.

The same with the challengers in this thread. Some become debt free, mortgage free, life takes a new path, new challenges, etc.

It is definitely worth joining, reading and joining in. It has helped so many people over the years and it has been amazing.

I am posting the new thread again this month and Kantankrus Mare will be posting the list of challengers. We hope to make the running of the thread a collaborative effort so it doesnít become too much work for anyone so please help out if you can.

This challenge was recently renamed as people seemed to be put off thinking they HAVE TO make £10 a day.

    You don't.

The original purpose of this challenge was to help people to try and make an extra £10 a day on top of their normal income to help things along. Ie paying off debt, making savings, paying for holidays, overpaying mortgages etc.

That is exactly what this challenge is about, attempting to make extra income on top of your normal income to help you wherever you need it.

People start the challenge by setting a goal of £1 a day. Then when they find they are smashing this regularly, they up it to £5 a day. Some of us gluttons for punishment go for £10 a day. It really is entirely upto you. We only ask you to post what your goal is to help you keep motivated. Some days you make more and some days you make less, but aim for extra at the end of the month.

The idea is that everyone posts how they are making extra money and these shared ideas help all of us to learn new ways to help cut debt or earn/save money.

    What cannot be added:
    Wages from your main job

    What can be added:
    Overtime
    Income from a second job
    Daily clicks
    Interest
    Vouchers
    Mystery shopping
    And much, much more.

This board can move pretty quickly, so be sure to subscribe and read it regularly.

So who wants to join us?

Join this challenge and let's make those bank accounts fat, mortgages paid off, holidays paid off, savings account grow fatter, debts paid off and much much more!!!

    Hi all!

I know I'm a bit late but could I join in for £10 a day for the rest of the month so £210?

I used to take part in this challenge years ago when it first started with my old username (that I now can't remember!) And would like to get back into it!

    Thanks

Hi everyone, glad to see people doing well on the money making front.

Over the last 5 days I've made £65.19 from cashback and survey sites with my biggest earner being Swagbucks where I've somehow made £46.28! That does include around £15 from last month which they've finally honoured and an offer from We Buy Any Car which I think they've taken down now as they were paying out around £15 just to get your car valued!

That puts me on £136.53/£186 for the month so I'm going to try and go for the full £10 a day. I've set myself specific goals for the survey sites I'm using and I do feel that I'm a little more productive because of it. On the look out for some more sites to add in as I keep exhausting the ones I'm using!

Hi. I'd like to sign up for £300 total for the month please. I used to do this challenge back when batgirl ran it and it paid for holidays, meals out, and lots of little treats at a time

I saw a post on facebook where someone said they aimed to make 50p a day. I thought you know what? that is a great idea. If I aim to do something that makes 50p, sure more than that will follow.

so from tomorrow am going to try doing that

does anyone do those daily lotto sites still?

like the birthdate lotto, the patches one etc.

I stopped them all but just wondered if anyone still does them and have you won recently?

I use Pick My Postcode, freemoji Lottery, Winna Dinner, Prize Pig, Raffall, Lucky Day and Lucky Bob/Lucky Patches. I won £6 on Lucky Patches a couple of months back plus £10 last week for finding Bob. I also have $7.50 on Lucky Day, but I can't cash out untilI reach $10. No other wins for me yet, but there have been 3 wins on Pick My Postcode very close to me in the last couple of months.

So I've had a busy start to the month and have almost hit my £100 target already!

£12.66 sending a box of book/DVDs to Ziffit
    £22.29 from Checkout Smart
    £29.37 from Prolific
    £0.55 cashout from Top Cashback
£17.75 from 3 ebay sales (after postage etc)

Up to £82.62 for very little effort!

I think I've also got about £10 on my Indeed JobSpotter account, but the app seems to be broken and won't open. Better not have lost it!
