Will I ever see my money? 13th Oct 18 at 1:21 PM
In September I purchased an item which cost 84.15 and I paid using my Nationwide credit card to get cashback.

This item is NOT from ebay or Amazon.

The item was unsuitable so I returned it using a prepaid postage label from the company.

The company acknowledges the return and said they would refund my money within 5 days.

I waited 5 days and no refund, so I contacted them via email.

Within 30 minutes I got a phone call from someone at the company apologising as the person dealing with refunds was on holiday and I would have my refund in a couple of days.

Couple of days pass and no refund but I left it another 2 days before I contacted them again.

Return email again apologising and will be refunded in 2 to 3 working days.

    I live in hope.

    What can I do?

At least when I paid with PayPal and another company gave me the runaround, after I raised a dispute with PayPal I had my refund the next day.
over 72 but not over the hill.

I think when you pay via card a retailer has 30 days in which to refund your money, so if no refund as the 30 day limit draws near, I'd personally
be contacting my bank to see about a charge back.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

Contact your credit card company and put the item in dispute - tell them why.

I got my refund, I don't know if it was because I contacted Nationwide or even because I posted here but the money mysteriously appeared as a credit on my online statement.
