Have you tried cocoa runners? Lots of fancy bars there.
Or do you mean boxed chocolate?

Charbonnel et Walker or Fortnum and Mason? They both sell nice chocolates and the small wafter-type pieces of chocolate. Neither are particularly cheap though!

Aldi or Lidl for the packs of 5 mini-bars. Not topetty-toppest quality, but most acceptable for chomping.

Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

My mother buys Leonidas from Chocolate Express. Not remotely cheap but some of the best chocolate money can buy ie hand-made with high-quality ingredients.

I'd also recommend Hotel Chocolat - they do a variety of batons and slabs

Not a fan of US chocolate either. I was given some of those Hershey's Kisses and they tasted rank.

I'm a fan of Hotel Chocolat too. I'm not usually a fan of signing up for emails but I did for Hotel Chocolat and they send me vouchers for 15% off.

The 315g Marks & Spencer box of Belgian Collection chocolates (wrapped in bronze paper with a black bow) are also very good.
