    Strange words in BLUE may be anagrams - Reading them backwards sometimes helps.

    Shame you didn't put the answer in whiteout, Sleazy, given that you posted it only 7 minutes after Wiz posed the question.

    It was very hard to avoid seeing it even after 5pm.

    Some of us do like to mull over a puzzle, and maybe eventually get the odd clue as a help, without the answer being right in our face straight away.

    Try this one:

    A 6 letter word that is quite common will give 10 words without rearranging the letters.

    I will give the answer tomorrow lunchtime, if you get it say so and PM me to give others a chance.

    With regard to the first puzzle, I managed to find 15 words without rearranging the letters, although a lot depends on how you define 'word'.


    15 words in English, plus one acronym and one German word!
