    Myself and my wife had a delayed flight this summer, delayed for about 20 hours. I made a complaint at the Tui site but they never responded to any of my enquiries. So I raised a case through the MSE site and got a response e-mail from the Flight Delay Claims Team. I completed all there forms and was told they were putting it in the hands of there solicitors, this was not at my request. I did do a digital signature for an agreement but this was a 1 page website. then I heard nothing for a couple of weeks and 2 cheques for 143 arrives. great you might say but compensation for a flight delayed for 3 hours should be 400 Euros equivalent to 350 at todays exchange rate, or 700 for 2 people. So the claims team had taken about 60% of my claim. although they have claimed they only got 645 which if try they cannot even get a decent exchange rate.
    So when I complain they say I agreed to all these costs, and provided the form i'd signed with 10 other sheets, which then have some costs hidden.


    I feel they if I'd persisted directly with Tui i'd be 400 better off today, so this money saving website has cost me 400.


    I could not find any other way to contact the web site or provide feedback so I've posted here in the hope that somebody actually reads it.

    The MSE tool goes through resolver.
    Not sure what link you've clicked through, but the flight delay claims team are unlikely to be anything to do with the site.

    Post the link you made your claim through.

    I used the MoneySavingExpert web site, i'd searched for Martin Lewis and flight delays, and looking at the Resolver tool again I did complete some of that, not gone to the end. I raised this case nearly 2 months ago, so cannot remember exactly which link was used on the site and my browsing history does not go back that far.

    MSE don't use or link to claims management companies.
    Their guide specifically says:

    Is Resolver effectively a claims management company? No, it's not – firstly, because it's free, and secondly, because while it will guide you, you're in charge of your complaint and responsible for checking it before it's made.

    So if you gave up on the resolver tool, do you remember how you actually made the claim?

    Sounds like you ended up on a fake site to me.


    As above. MSE is just information.


    Finally a scam and a missed opportunity to actually put scam in the title and be correct ;-)

    I Gave up on the resolver tool this time as didn't want to raise a second claim, but wouldn't have stopped when I did it originally, would off gone through to the end, but when I got a response from the Flight Delay Claims Team I didn't know they were a claim management company.


    Are you saying somehow I used a link which took be to a claims management company and they are the ones who have removed money from my claim? did an internet search on Flight Delay Claims Team and found other feedback indicating they are con artists, looks like they've scammed me out of a lot of my compensation.

    I've just done a quick Google myself and found a page which says that flight compensation claims aren't regulated, so other than a small claims court claim where you'd have to show you weren't made aware of the terms and conditions there's no way to get any of the money back.

    Thank you for your feedback, my problem is as i'd never used the MSE site before and when you get communication from Flight Delay Claims team I assumed they were associated with MSE.
