Can anyone recommend a site where I can download photos of celebrity pop/rock stars for free. I checked out a few free sites, but they don't have the photos I want. I'm looking for ones like David Bowie, Bob Marley, Elvis etc. I've an idea for a digital art project, but I need some good photos first. They don't need to be excellent, as long as it's obvious who they are.

    Google. Click the images link.

As everyone has said - Google image search is amazing, but just in case you've never used it (guessing this because you asked where to find images )

Go to google.co.uk, enter bob marley and hit search. Then click "Images" in the row below the search bar. Explore the options, such as Tools / Size / Large.

All of the results will be subject to licence, even if you change them. It's a bit of a minefield. Someone made a flow-chart:

Thanks for the replies. I do know how to use Google, but I thought someone might know a good website, without, as you say, searching through a mine field. The flow chart is very handy, as I will be changing the image, but in a way the person will still be recognized.
