Left over stir-fry so day 1/4 complete this week. Buying my lunch costs at least 4 a day so 20 saved from this challenge so far.

I'm returning to work after a vacation next week and am challenging myself to bring lunches in each day for the 13 remaining work days in October. Really been struggling with this recently, but 13 days seems manageable. Wish me luck!

    Morning all!

Sorry I've been absent all month, I was on holiday for the first week and back to work on Tuesday 9th. Managed to damage a nerve in my back on holiday, so got sent home from work on the Tuesday. Made it back in on Friday last week, and that was my first day of making lunch!

So including today I've got 3/14 days just due to sickness. Mr Thrice was at work every day last week, I've no idea what he ate as I was literally out of it on painkillers for days

This week is a fresh start, we have got stuff for all lunches this week. Will need to nip to Costco this weekend to top up my part baked breads for next week's stuff.

Hope everyone else is doing well, I'll catch up on comments soon x

    Hi,
I stumbled across this thread and it looks brill. Can I join please? My hours at work have changed so I have set meal times now, none of these different shift each day malarkey! Hubby and I aren't really sandwich eaters. He can only have meals that can be eaten cold due to the fact he is outreach. Any ideas would be welcome. Pasta becomes a bore after a while!

    Hi Everyone,

Apologies for delaying updating the thread, real life has been a bit hectic the past two weeks or so.

The list on the first page has been updated and all new and existing members have been added.

Due to work/home life, I am pulling out of this months one. I have lost count any way.

    Thanks

Been a good girl so far this week and managed 2/2. Left over roast lamb from Sunday roast made into stew. Leftover pasta bake packaged up ready for tomorrow's lunch. I am enjoying the accountability of this thread.

    3/8 for me today
Have bought meal deals twice so not going to get to my 8 this month. Have got some leftover pasta and sauce and a yoghurt for lunch. Had a packet of crisps for breakfast (not good I know but was the only thing I had to bring, I got up late - oops!)

Leftovers from last night again - bbq chicken, sweet potato mash and sweet corn. I'm finding it so much easier to make extra for dinner then have leftovers for lunch. That's 4/5 this week and 8/9 overall.

    Morning all!

Well I fell asleep early last night (like 7pm early ) and didn't make any sandwiches for today for me and MrT.

Fear not! I had bought a multi pack of noodles from Costco at the weekend (from my weekly food budget) so we are having these! So still NSD's on lunches!

I WILL make sandwiches tonight for the next 2 days, then again on Wednesday night for Thurs/Fri. I WILL do it this week!!
