    I am looking to move into my partners council house. She has rent arrears and i am wondering if i was to move in this would have a huge impact in terms of the council demanding it be paid in full straight away? or will it not affect? anybody got any knowledge on this kind of situation?

    If you move in, why don't you just make a contribution towards rent and help her clear the arrears?
