Eastenders lately has been very poor acting and storylines.Emmerdale and Coronation street just seem to get better as time goes on.

But then, it wasn't on long.

Another ill-fated one was Albion Market. Never really got off the starting block. Didn't like that much.

Don't watch any these days........ when you watch them over a long period of time, the same things keep happening, the disasters get ever bigger, no-one is allowed to have a happy marriage, if an actor wants to leave, they have to die instead of just being replaced, and as someone said, long-lost relatives keep turning up.

It just all gets boring in the end.

And yet, in its time, Coronation Street was superb. I watched it from the beginning (as a child! ) until about 5 or 6 years ago when imo it had gone the same way as all the rest...disasters, doom and gloom...and so became tedious.

Over the years I have watched them all, after 50 years watching corrie (the last one I stuck with) I gave it up after a 3 week spell in hospital and haven't seen it since.
So now I watch non of them, but I would have to say that East Enders was the most depressing.

(Ok, it hasn't happened yet, but they'll all soon run out of disasters, so it probably will. )
