Indigo PCN - Used "Park Now" on Indigo App and it issued ticket for the PREVIOUS DAY! 8th Aug 18 at 6:43 PM
    Hello

I purchased a ticket using the Indigo App with my account, and clicked on the PARK NOW option for Burgess Hill Station whilst sat there to ensure it went through. I purchased at 7:11am on 7th August. Had PCN on my screen when I returned that evening, checked history and ticket was for PREVIOUS DAY! No way I could achieve that on the app, as there is no date option for PARK NOW! I am an IT specialist so this clearly is an error on their platform but I cannot see instances of this issue elsewhere. As I say it is IMPOSSIBLE to select a date on the app for Park Now - as you are, er, parking right now! You can only select number of days - I selected one.

I am not a time lord and I do not drive a De'Lorean with a flux capacity and time travel circuit!

I am waiting for the transaction to come through on my card statement which I hope will show the transaction date as the 7th, against my history showing the ticket dated the 6th. Its currently pending.

Do I follow the Indigo PCN guidelines and ignore the PCN or respond differently, as in this instance I DID purchase a ticket, and the error is clearly their app and an IT issue.

    Thank you

UPDATE - I have found the receipt section on the app - hilarious - it clearly shows my purchase was made at 07:08am (my car clock must be out) on 07/08/2018 for a ticket for 06/08 00:00 to 06/08 23:59!

Complete !!!! up on their app, as its not possible for me to replicate this using the Park Now as I cannot see the date option to change it.

    Thanks

Where does it say to ignore the PCN? The usual advice is to appeal so it would be useful to know where ignoring is advised as it might need changing.

there is no advice listed on here that says to IGNORE a PCN

appeal a PCN is always the advice given , although we sometimes tell people to ignore a windscreen ticket and wait for an NTK in the post

appealing beforehand sometimes means they fail to issue an NTK which can be an extra popla appeal point (or in court if it got that far)
