    Hi All,

Does anyone know when an inventory is received from a seller when buying a house?

    Thanks

The fittings and contents form? It's received when the seller can be bothered filling it in.

We received it a month into the buying process, but that was because the vendor's solicitor had been sitting on it for 3 weeks and didn't send it until our solicitor chased them.

The seller is normally given the forms by their solicitor at the very beginning in the welcome pack. They may complete it immediately, or if they aren't sure what they're going to need eg are there integral appliances in their new place... Is their seller leaving x and y etc... Then it might take longer.

The buyer normally gets a final copy with the contracts as they form part of it.
