    If you fail the credit check during a bank pre-screening with the bank is there a possibility that this can be waived if it is a single default that has been paid off over 3 years ago? Someone mentioned it has to be less than 5000.

    I would have thought any possible waivers would have been applied before failing you. Perhaps someone will come along with better knowledge?
