No tie laces 5th Aug 18 at 5:01 PM
    Hello!

Do you big abdominal fat, it is very hard to tie laces in shoes.
I read you can 'convert' any shoes into slipon by using silicon elastic 'no tie' laces.

Do they work well? What size do I need if the holes in my shoes are 6cm between them?

    Thanks!

Ask your chosen supplier what size as they are all different.

I changed the laces on my converse to Hickies a while back and I was very impressed.
Easy on and off, although they wont work on all shoes. They way they apply pressure is also more even so it makes them more comfortable to wear.

I second Hickies - although I bought mine because I have very narrow feet and found these were better than laces that slipped open gradually. There's different ways you can 'lace' them depending on what type of shoe fit / foot width you have.

There are also different ways you can lace normal laces depending on your foot width, could be worth looking at a couple of running sites as they often have diagrams of this. Perhaps with longer laces?

I bought a set of proworks elastic no tie laces a few months back fo around 4 from Amazon.
It took 2 minutes to put them on and i love them. I will definitely by more for my next shoes.
They were very long so fits and type of shoe. (Install on shoe/trim to length/clip on toggle and end protecter/done)
Also there is a good range of colours.
