Foreign and International SIM cards

Hi all!

I'm planning on going travelling soon and visiting New Zealand Australi and quite a few places in South East Asia. Does anyone have any suggestions for SIM cards that are good for a traveller, like international SIMs? I might look at local SIMs in NZ and Australia, but for Asia I might be moving about more and so one SIM might be better. I've had a look and so far found WorldSIM, ChatSIM and GeoSim; has anyone used any of these and have knowledge to share? Or a completely different company you'd recommend? Or anyone to completely avoid!? My phone is unlocked so this wouldn't be a problem.

Any information would be great. Thanks in advance!

I don't think any of these global roaming SIMs are decent value, if and when they work. I tried one called Mobidata a couple of times, free trial, often worked but not good enough value to put money on.

Three UK 'Feel at Home' is useful in many countries including Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, but not for making/receiving local calls.

A local SIM on PAYG in each country can be a good option, with cheap rates and data bundles in Thailand, Cambodia etc.

A dual-SIM handset is very useful when traveling, for versatility.

I would go for a local SIM everywhere too. But a Roaming SIM is an option; http://www.ais.co.th/roaming/sim2fly/en/
