Changing Broker 10th Jul 18 at 9:57 PM
    Hi All,

I am part way through a house purchase and having a nightmare with the mortgage broker. They have so far messed up 2 applications. Is it a nightmare to change broker half way through the process?

Any advice would be great as I donít want to stay with the broker but also donít want to jeopardise my purchase. In case it makes a difference I am in Scotland

    Thanks

I was going to use a broker, but took him a week to tell me the first company he suggested would not be any good. At that point I decided to go direct. Other brokers may do a better job.

I am using the lift scheme in Scotland and twice they messed up the value on the application. It has delayed completion and I almost lost the house!

So a number has been miss-keyed on a form?

Presumably, that has now been resolved?
