    Have noticed that comparison sites for holidays aren't the cheapest and if you then search for the place you've found through the site and go straight to the hotel's website you can get a cheaper rate. Thought this might be a top tip? NB. I've only done this with Airbnb and booking.com so I haven't checked out other sites. I got 10 per night off a hotel I stayed in by Paddington and noticed that there was an extra 40 per night on a self catering apartment going direct rather than booking.com.
