    Peugeot 207 10th Jul 18 at 12:39 AM
A week ago, I bought an 11 year old Peugeot 207 (07 plate) and used the radio for the first time last Thursday. However since then, a strap line runs across the display screen reading "It is Thursday evening"! I have consulted the manual and pressed buttons but am unable to get rid of it - any ideas please?
Profile name now out of date as, thankfully, with lots of help from this site, have cleared my debts 18 months early (apart from the mortgage which I am working on!). Many thanks MSE!!

    Set the time and date?

Does it matter? It will be right once a week.

It is French, they go by their own rules.

Do the French have a no radio policy on Thursdays? The French software engineer must have been a comedian in his previous life...

Is this on the radio itself and not the dashboard display?

Ive had a similar problem from the dash display which when i popped out and back in the fuses seem to put it right but nothing on the radio. (i know proper technical)
    Don't be angry!

Ha ha! Many thanks for your replies - some taken with 'un petit piece de sal'!
Yes, I have tried resetting the time and date but I have been told that it must have been something I pressed when tuning into that station for the first time and committed to memory.
I have resigned myself to now listening to a different radio station - and only tuning into the 'problem' one on a Thursday evening, lol!
Once again, thanks all for your time and suggestions. Cheers!
