    I need to now apply for probate re my late Mum

    Could someone tell me what details the Grant of representation has when returned after probate please.

    The front sheet has the following:
    • Name and address of the testator (in this case your mum)
    • date of death
    • where she was domiciled (England & Wales, Scotland or NI)
    • confirmation that the will has been proved and registered in the High Court
    • names and addresses of the executors
    • confirmation of the value of the estate


    A copy of the will is attached to the front sheet.

    To add, that once Probate is granted, the document and will become public property. Anyone can download them from the Government website for 10: https://probatesearch.service.gov.uk/#wills
    Your full details, including signature (on the will confirming it as true) will be published.
