    Ever seen this glass before, i like it but can't find it available in the UK, has anybody heard where you could get this from.

    go to youtube and type polycarbonate or Lexan (a branded trade mark of the stuff) They use it to shield the audience in robot wars and braniacs. They make police riot shields out of it. A laminated version might be better for you. it is about 200 to 250 times stronger than glass (each manufacturer quotes a different figure) Downfall of this is naked flame and various solvents. Some solvents make it brittle. I bought a 10mm 70cm x 33cm piece and it cost me 45 including P&P to protect the glass payne in my front door
