    I know it's a made up concept.

Do you know the concepts of tact and humour?

Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one bird
The only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistake
Chuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".

It gradually became very clear as it went on that whoever got through does not have a hope against france. Two inferior teams were playing tonight.

The only thing I can find is from the Urban Dictionary - I'm obviously not as down with the kids as you are - but their definition,
"When a person claims to be on the good side of a bet or prediction after the result without proving any evidence before or during the event."
bears no connection to the joke I posted or to the timing of my post.

I apologise if I've upset you.

Must admit, I thought it was a clever joke, too. But then football isn't the be all and end all of existence for me, so it might be different for die-hard aficionados.

At the end of the day, though, I think the team did very well, and surpassed expectations, so nothing to be ashamed about at all.

It was a funny joke from Tabby, which I had just read somewhere else, too. And the will be other jokes to follow I am sure:

Flood warning for England as all of Wales p****ng themselves laughing.

However, I and lots of my country folk admire this English team for their skill, attitude and success so far.

    They can be proud.
