Please help do I give details or not? 8th Jun 18 at 11:48 AM
The driver parked the car and got out of the car to meet a friend. After meeting with the friend they walked back past the car to the shop and noticed a PCN stuck to their car window. They continued on to enter into the shop and make a purchase. Their car was parked for less than the allotted 2 hours and they were a paying customer but they still received a PCN not even 10 minutes after parking. Can you please help?

    Thanks!

    One last question sorry!

So even though the driver was a paying customer and did not stay past the limit should the template still be used? - which talks about many other points as to why the charge should not be payed.

That template is designed to ensure you get a POPLA code.

    Can anyone help?

The registered keeper has received the NTK. They haven't appealed yet, is it too late to do this?

    Thanks

The newbies FAQ thread covers initial appeal and provides a template to use

As you don't say how old the ntk is, no-one can say if it's too late to appeal

The keeper should do so anyway in the hope it's not too late to get a popla code

The ntk was received today - it has been received within the 29-56 day period. The newbie thread says the keeper was supposed to send an appeal on day 26 ish however they haven't done so and its now day 35. Should the template appeal still be used?

    Thank you for your reply.

The whole point is to stop them issuing a NTK...the keeper can and MUST appeal at this stage, but has possibly thrown in the bin the main winning POPLA appeal point.
PRIVATE PCN? DON'T PAY BUT DO NOT IGNORE IT TWO Clicks needed for advice:
Top of the page: Home>>Forums>Household & Travel>Motoring>Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking - read the 'NEWBIES' FAQS thread!
Advice to ignore is WRONG, unless in Scotland/NI.
