The word "Fraud" Is Offensive On Trustpilot? 17th May 18 at 3:59 PM
I put a review on Trustpilot about a free lottery company who refused to pay out when i won, now Trustpilot has come back to me 2 months on saying i must remove the word Fraud because it could cause offence to somebody.
I feel like replacing Fraud with Snowflake or something or maybe fairy dust.
Enjoy everyday like it's your last!

Fraud and scam are frequently offensive words on here. Usually because what ever the op is talking about is rarely fraud or a scam. You have to be very sure of your facts before bandying such words around online.

    What happened?

Free lottery? Is that a thing?

Don't answer that op. Perhaps Spender will turn up with words of comfort.

It's to protect their own backside. If the company can demonstrate they are legitimate then calling them a fraud or scam could be damaging to their reputation.

They could sue and may possibly have a strong case. That could cost serious dough.
    This space for hire.

It was only 450 that i won but when i proved i had won it they claimed someone else had claimed the winnings from my Postcode despite me being the only person living in the postcode, then they stopped answering my questions so i gave my review.

You were an active poster in Feb of this year (before you submitted your trustpilot review).

I am quite surprised that you haven't made a single reference to this free lottery competition on this money saving forum, one which has a consumer rights and praise + vent section.

Personally, if I'd have won 450 but been told that someone else had applied for the money I would have sought help on this website. Each to their own though, maybe you just didn't want to do that. Still, it is a bit odd. Might as well just shove 450 down the drain when you next get paid.

Priorities a bit wayway in my opinion (I'd more likely post about the problem to try and get the money and not post about the moderated review).

Just an observation really I have my own thoughts, but not really going anywhere other than pointing it out.
