What credit limit on Virgin or Sains 0%? 15th May 18 at 8:11 AM
    Morning all!

I require a loan of about 3-4k to add to my savings for a car, Is that the kind of figure I could expect to be able to put on a Virgin or Sains 0% card? I don't want to apply for one only to find out they only offer a lot less and wish I had gone for a loan instead. Bit of a chicken and egg! My credit rating is excellent btw. So in a nutshell, the Virgin card - is it offering sub 1k or anything up to 5-6k like my other credit cards? Thanks!

Could be anything. Maybe 500. Maybe 15,000.

It depends on your circumstances, not your credit rating.

I think you will have to apply for the card and find out, as noone on this forum will be able to tell you the limit of a successful application is going to get you.

    Good lucks and report back.

Also, I can't remember...at what stage of the application can you decline their offer if the limit isn't enough. Although they've no doubt done a hard credit check by then.

I tried Virgin money, it all kind of whizzed past but I'm pretty sure that the point they revealed the credit limit it still said it wouldn't leave a footprint. It was 9k, so happy days :-)
