Cheap but good quality wooden floors 14th May 18 at 6:10 PM
    Hello.
I want to put nice wooden floor throughout my house.
    60 square meters.
I looked at normal internet floor shops and the one I like will be around 2500 for the whole project.
I was wondering if anyone knows of alternatives to these "normal" stores, where I could buy 60 square meters of a nice wooden floor for a much cheaper price.
I want good quality but I was thinking there are websites where they get rid of old stock or bankrupt stores etc.
    Thanks for the info.

I just bought my engineered floor from factory flooring direct. Great price compared to everywhere I looked at.

53 m2 for 1400. Good thickness and tongue and groove also

What do you actually want? Cheap? or Quality? you can't have both.
Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.

Does that 2,500 include fitting? If so, you are being a bit optimistic.

We recently paid just shy of 3K for 35 square metres. That was 2,000 for the flooring and 900 for the fitting (including new skirting throughout).

That was for good quality engineered oak with 6mm of actual oak. Not the cheapest, but by no means the dearest either.

If you want solid wood at any reasonable quality then I don't think you're going to find anything cheaper.

If you're looking for engineered wood you could probably do a bit better than that by shopping around.

(assuming that the price you have listed above is for the wood floor itself only, not including fitting, delivery and other materials)
Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning

No, 2500 includes the wood floor only. No underlay, no skirting, no fitting.

That!!!8217;s why I think I can find better than that.

I!!!8217;m sure someone here will know of a website or a warehouse or something where I can find a better deal than that. Like leftover stocks from closed down stores.
