    Ryanair - MULTIPLE online check-in failure 14th May 18 at 10:54 AM
    As above, flying early Thursday.

Living in a notspot doesn't help, but cannot advance to page following this one:

Check-in Free check-in open from 4 days up to 2 hours before flight
    London Stansted - Marseille
    17th May
Randomly allocated seat [This option is free of charge]
    Choose your seat
More legroom and a speedy exit!
    Check-in later
Up to 2 hours before flight
    Marseille - London Stansted
    date
    Free check-in not available
    Early check-in £ 4
More legroom and a speedy exit!
    Check-in later
Up to 2 hours before flight

-because the CONFIRM rectangle, lower right corner, stays in greyscale equivalent.

Used Live Chat, which was useless. Had hoped person would tweak things, or ask me sufficient security ?s to reassure. Advice was 'to move somewhere to a nearby big city....' - ludicrous, inappropriate, irrelevant for right now.

Mser brilliance can do better, I'm sure
    Any effective help, please?

Thankyou jps - Look-up says API is Advanced Passenger Information, but 1st online check-in page opens with &;s passport info. Shd there be more?
This page has 'solid' CONFIRM, l/r/c, which passes to the problem page above.
Because CONFIRM is 'shaded', not 'solid' there, i cannot proceed.

Do you have to select -

Randomly allocated seat [This option is free of charge]

    before the CONFIRM button un-greys?

I am afraid that I don't have an upcoming Ryanair booking to play with to check for sure and I can't recall the exact checkin pages from my last one.

Have you tried using a different device? I always have a similar problem on another (completely different) website, but as soon as I switch from my my desktop + broadband to mobile + mobile internet it works fine.

I've just flown with Ryanair for the first time for several years and used the app to check in. It is a bit confusing as I was able to check in for the outbound flight with a randomly allocated seat OK, and it looked like it was then going to let me do the return flight check in, but it would only do that if I bought early access. However, just giving up at that point ended up being fine, the boarding pass for the first flight was generated, and I checked in a day or two later for the return flight without any issue.

Another tip I found on the flight back was that if you can avoid getting your bag tagged at the check in desk you can take it on board rather than have it loaded into the hold, without needing to pay, and there was plenty of room in the overhead lockers. And although I haven't tried it, even if you do get the bag tagged I don't see how they would know at the plane if you just removed the tag after the gate.
