Car Hire - money coming out of my account after holiday 14th May 18 at 6:36 AM
Hi there husband has been to Poland and just got back I have looked on his credit card statement and there is a pending transaction for over 400 there is also the ones for the car already paid when he picked up car. He took photos of car before he took it but stupidly not when he dropped it off. He has not done anything to the car. What should we do here. He took out the pre insurance recommenced by this site to do.
    Has anyone got any ideas

Is it the car hire company after the money.

there are many other thingsto spend money on in Poland.

If it is the car hire company , first step is to ask who you booked with, have you all the paperwork inc the contract that was signed on pick up and drop off

If the transaction is pending it's likely to be the security deposit.

When you hire you pay the hire costs plus they ringfence an additional amount for the deposit and this amount remains pending until it expires, which can take up to 10 days. This is not at all unusual.

Get your husband to call the credit card company and ask whether it's an actual transaction or a ringfenced amount.
Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear
