Punctuation symbols reassigned!? 13th May 18 at 1:05 PM
Big windows update last night, anybody else noticed problems when keying punctuation characters?
For example first noticed my @ sign didn't work where it should. Assumed problem with the keyboard, new has the quotation symbol key generates the @ sign instead, also no pound sign replaced by # key!

    Anybody else noticed it?

Will complain the Microsoft though getting hold of anyone will be a miracle!!

Try changing you your keyboard setting back UK. Sounds like it has been set to US.

Thanks - gone into settings, typing - advanced gives options for language - doesn't say what the default is - but I clicked on the English UK.
    So, far no difference ??????

You want the Language setting, "Keyboard Layout: United Kingdom" (if that's not what you did).

    It should work immediately.

Assuming you have Windows 10, click on ENG on the taskbar and select 'English UK Keyboard'
I used to have a handle on life, but it broke.

Once I was passed the 'robot' on m/soft help livechat I was OK, they sorted it out - I think via personise.
