PCN from UKCPS 11th May 18 at 8:50 PM
I paid for an all day ticket and didn't think to check it before displaying it in my windscreen. I today received a PCN from UKCPS saying I hadn't paid - when I checked on their picture I realised that the payment was under the amount I paid. 2.50 instead of the 3 I put into their machine so the ticket ran out a couple of hours early than I expected.

Do I have a leg to stand on and if so how would I appeal? and could this be a new scam from them?

remove any hint of who did what

the DRIVER did blah blah on the day

then read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread near the top of this forum, its for newbies like you, so we dont have to repeat ourselves ad nauseum
    Newbies !!
Private Parking ticket? check the 2 sticky threads by coupon-mad and crabman in the Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking Board forum for the latest advice or maybe try pepipoo or C.A.G. or legal beagles forums if you need legal advice as well because this parking forum is not about debt collectors or legal matters per se

Read the NEWBIES thread first, and search the forum for UKCPS to learn about the trouble they are hopefully in, and to see all the zillions of other threads about them.

IPC cases are all the same.
PRIVATE PCN? DON'T PAY BUT DO NOT IGNORE IT TWO Clicks needed for advice:
Top of the page: Home>>Forums>Household & Travel>Motoring>Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking - read the 'NEWBIES' FAQS thread!
Advice to ignore is WRONG, unless in Scotland/NI.
