    Hi MSE Forum

I have been going through some old bank statements I found in my loft and I need some help trying to work out the following Payees by the name listed below.

    3. CAPITAL BANK PLC? (Loan - but who are they now?)

Can anyone help me find out who they are and potentially what it is.
All were being paid by DD over many months/years.

Fortis was a Belgian financial conglomerate that crashed and burned in 2008. The insurance bit was renamed as Ageas and sells insurance in the UK

I'd suspect that a payment to Fortis was for some kind of insurance.
