    Buying a house and the electrics looks old and so does the heating, can you please give your thoughts on the links below?

    Hopefully below will work as I am in work and don't have time to research image upload websites - can you recommend one?

    Both look old and at or towards the end of life, budget to change both within the 1st year.

    Yes, both the heating and the electrics look old but I don't see anything dangerous.

    You can find a good local gas engineer to check the boiler over for about 50 and a good local electrician to check the full electrical installation for 150-250 depending on how many bedrooms you have.

    I would go that route if you're overly worried.
